I want to connect with teachers, leaders and education staff and support them in their career growth, whether that's a new strategy, perspective or career direction.

I was a classroom teacher in Australia, Canada and England for over 10 years. While supervising new/pre-service teachers, I realised I had a passion for helping them gain confidence and feel fulfilled in their profession.

2012 was a tough year, involving personal stress and work burnout. This led me to question what I wanted to do. So I moved into academic support in higher education, which gave me the opportunity to manage a team of ex-teachers turned learning advisors. In recent years, I have completed a Master of Education from the University of Sydney, presented at a number of conferences around Australia and helped my team up-skill for their next career move.

 

At turning points in my career, I've struggled to find someone who understood being a teacher and had time and knowledge to offer me a fresh perspective.

So Educator Guidance Group was born. I completed the Professional Certificate of Coaching for Educational Leaders through Monash University. I love working with teachers, leaders and professional staff in education to gain skills, confidence and resources to grow their career.
